There are only three High Councils in existence:

Societas Rosicrucian in Anglia (The Rosicrucian Society in England): Founded 1866 by Robert Wentworth Little (1840-1878); rituals are said to have been found in the Grand Lodge library at Great Queen's Street; translated from the German by William Henry White. As of 1990, S.R.I.A. had 50 colleges in England and Abroad.

Societas Rosicruciana in Scotia (The Rosicrucian Society in Scotland): As of 1990, the S.R.I.S. had 5 active colleges and 300 members.

Societas Rosicruciana in Civitatibus Foederatis (The Rosicrucian Society in the United States): Founded September 21, 1880 by 3 colleges chartered by S.R.I.S.; currently has 32 colleges in the United States and Abroad.
